Hello,  Glad you guys are back.  I have a problem but don't know what I should do to correct it.  I was under the Club pogo section and logged in and it won't leave me logged in there for some reason.  I went to the main page and logged in and then went back into club pogo section and I was gone again lol.  What am I doing wrong?   :o

Homer

The world according to pogo.

Question
Why do I have to log in every time I come back to Pogo?

Answer
Pogo stores your screenname and password in a small data file on your computer called a cookie. Each time you come back to pogo to play games, we check your cookie and if it’s there, we’ll automatically log you in to the service so you can get playing right away.

If you’re not being recognized when you come back to pogo, then there’s a problem with the cookie file. Something is blocking us from writing the cookie, it’s being deleted in between visits or the cookie is being corrupted somehow. There are a few things you can try in an effort to get this working:
Make sure cookies are enabled on your browser.
For Internet Explorer (version 5.x) - choose ‘Internet Options’ from the ‘Tools’ menu. Click the ‘Security’ tab and make sure the slider bar is set to ‘Medium’.
For Internet Explorer (version 6.x) - choose ‘Internet Options’ from the ‘Tools’ menu. Click the ‘Privacy’ tab and make sure the slider bar is set to Medium
For Netscape (version 4.xx) - choose ‘Preferences’ from the ‘Edit’ menu. Click on ‘Advanced’ in the box on the left. On the right, make sure the radio button is set to ‘Accept all cookies’.
For Netscape (versions 6 and 7) - choose ‘Preferences’ from the ‘Edit’ menu. Click on the triangle next to ‘Advanced’ on the left. This will expand the selections under ‘Advanced’. Now click on ‘Cookies’. Make sure the radio button is set to ‘Enable all cookies’.
Turn off any privacy or cookie-blocking software programs
Some people use software like this to prevent SPAMmers or ‘shadier’ websites from storing information on their computer. We respect everyone’s right to privacy, but we cannot store the cookie file on your computer while software like this is running. You will need to either have the software acknowledge Pogo.com as an allowable site, or disable this software for Pogo to store your screenname and password. If you feel strongly about keeping it running at all times and allowing Pogo.com doesn't seem to work, you’ll have to sign in to pogo each time you come back. There’s no way around it.
Try deleting your cookies to make sure the cookie hasn’t become corrupted
Internet Explorer 6 users can delete their cookies right through the Internet Options screen (on the Privacy Tab) in the browser. You can manually delete your cookies for other browsers, but we suggest consulting the help area or files at the company site who makes your browser (i.e. - Microsoft.com for Internet Explorer, Netscape.com for Netscape, etc.) for instructions on how to manually delete your cookies. Please exercise caution in doing this, some sites (online banking, etc.) may store important information in your cookie files, so deleting them could have unexpected repercussions.
If you ‘sign-out’ each time you’re done playing, thist automatically clears your cookie.
Signing out isn’t necessary when you’re done playing. We do suggest it for people who don’t want to be automatically logged in to pogo each time they come back or for homes where multiple people play on Pogo through different screen names. However, if you want to be logged in automatically, make a point not to click the ‘Sign Out’ link when you’re done playing.
If you’ve tried and/or verified the above four options and are still not able to get logged in each time, please write us and let us know via the 'Ask a Question' tab at the top of this page. We’ll do our best to investigate to see what else may be preventing you from being logged into pogo automatically.

;D ;D  Oh no I guess I didn't explain right I'm so sorry Homer for the long explanation I caused you to give- this is what I meant -   I came on here (Pogocheats), logged in, went to the Club pogo section of THIS website and tried to get involved in chat but couldn't because I won't say logged in for some reason.  I went under the Clubpogo section in here and logged in and it takes me back to the page where it says- pogo, clubpogo, tech help, etc.  Then when I log in there, and pick clubpogo I'm not logged in when I get into that section.  Hope that sounds right.  Thanks for the help.   O0

ps.  just tried again and was able to do it- must have just been a fluke or something.  thanks again.

Homer
