I've read all the Robottso posts but none seem to answer my problem.  I have d/l the program and everytime i try bring it up it will not respond.  I have tried many times to delete it and re-download it but nothing works.  When I ctrl/alt delete to shut the "Not Responding" program down it will not shut down. I have to reboot my computer to get it to shut down so i can try to delete and re-d/l the program.  Any suggestions??  I really would like to see how the Robottso program works.  I hate playing Lottso on my own..lol

Thanks for the help :)

I wish I could help but I'm not having any problems with mine, as for the reboot, if your computer is like mine it likes to go on strike when it comes to "Not Responding" programs and I normally have to wait a couple of minutes for it to decide to actually close it.  I hope someone here can help you out.

i will try that but the program has been up and running but still....Not Responding. When i double click on the program to start it, nothing appears, no box, no other window...NOTHING!!!   I would send an error report if something would pop up to let me send it.  It wont even let me shut down the program via ctrl alt delete- end task.  I am truly baffled. This is the only program I've had probs with really.

Thanks for the help and if ya got any other suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it.

oh..i'm running Sun Java- current version and just now d/l Microsoft VM.  If that helps any.

I can honestly say that I am a bit annoyed about the lack of help concerning my Robottso clitch so I have decided to NOT re-download the program until a newer version is released.  I am getting tired of messing with it have ran completely out of ideas.  Thanks Anyway!

I had that problem but figured it out, on the auto it can not block any part of the lotto cards or it will not respond, so now when I run it I move it up alittle off the card and it works great

with lottso if you join 1/2 way through a game it takes a while to start, once it has started open robbottso , I have never had a problem with it in msjava or sun, a brilliant programme for a boring game

My Robottso program works great but I have noticed the last few day that the lottso room aren't responding very well ( even if you try to play for real) so it might just be a pogo thing not the auto.

With all due respect, you got help. I asked you to conduct an experiment. You posted something less than hopeful before conducting it, and never got back to me after conducting it.

Bob, with all due respect, I did respond.  The program once started was never shut down untill i rebooted the computer because that is the only way the program will shut down.  Here...this was my response..... it was posted right after yours.

Now, i have started the program, closed down all the browser windows to where I was just staring at my desk top and there is absolutley no sign of the program anywhere.  Nothing ducked away in the corner...not so much as a dot  that would allow me to say OH..there it is.  However it is found when i hit CTRL ALT DELETE AND THERE IT SITS...LOTTSO BALL SOUP.....NOT RESPONDING.  I let is sit there all day...nothing pops up..nothing opens.  So...back to square one!   :-\

NavyMom0f4

O.k...I will do that right now but like I also said...i started the program and let it sit all day and the program still would not respond.  Nothing ever pops up.   Here we go...bb in a few.

NavyMom0f4

OK Bob...this is what happened.  I clickd on the robottso program then opened up Lottso.  I probably let it sit there for a good 15-20 mins.  Robottso never started.  When I opened up my Task Manager, there sat Lottso Ball Soup ...Not Responding.  I went ahead and rebooted my combuter to close the program down since thats the only way it will close down.  Next, once my computer was booted back up, I started up Lottso first...played a game or two then tried to start the Robottso program.  A window popped up from my virus protection saying that the Robottso program was trying to enter a DNS server.  I went ahead and clicked "allow the program to run on all ports"  Little hour glass popped up and then...Nothing..So..I continued to let the lottso game just sit there for about 20 mins or so but the program was still a no show.  When i opened up my Task Manager again, there it sat...Lottso Soup Ball  NOT RESPONDING!  So, any other suggestions??????   :'(

Can you change your firewall setting to make it block Robottso from accessing any ports?

I actually thought about that.  I manually went in and added the robottso program to the exceptions list so the firewall would not block it.  Odd thing is that i have not had to do that with any other programs.  All the other programs work wonderfully.  I am very pleased with my purchase and will continue to purchase the programs that I need.  It just really boggles me that I am having so many problems with just this one particular program.  If the warning does happen to come up again i will be sure to tell it to block it instead of allowing it and let you know if it works.

Thanks again for you help  O0

NavyMom0f4

Well, i still can't get the program to work. But here's a question.  When i open up my Windows Task Manager, Lottso Ball soup is listed twice even though I only started the program once.  Is this normal and why would it do that?

Thanks!

NavyMom0f4

Well...guess what???????????  IT WORKS...WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!   ;D  Hubby started to tinker with our system registry and ran disk repairs and we have had a few things that were corrupted and was deleted.  Thanks again!   O0

NavyMom0f4

LOL...please dont yell at Bob.  I know he was trying his best.  Anyway...I need to expand on the problem.  Come to find out it had nothing to do with the registry at all.  Its a compatabillity problem with our Norton Internet Security.  Its weird really.  I can only start up the Robottso program while either the modem is off or i have to disable my Norton Internet Securtiy until the program is up and running. Then I can turn the modem on or turn on my NIS.  Did anyone else have that prob?  Anyways, I have it working...finally.

Quick question....do i leave the scratch option off or on?

Thanks

Homer

I leave scratch option unchecked. Unless your sitting there and tring for the Super Lottso card then turn it off and wait until one side has all the cards ready to be scratched. Scratch them before the end of the round and you get the Super Card at the beginning of the next round.

Glad to hear you got things working. ;)
