Your Internet Access

Just wondering what how everyone accesses the net anymore. Up until about 2 months ago, we lived in an apartment that included roadrunner cable access in every townhouse. So when we moved into our own Condo we have to pay for it now _ (More $$ than I thought) anywho.... just wondering.
I use wireless roadrunner- gives us the freedom to have all 3 computers online at once, and we can go anywhere we want without those damn wires running everywhere.

If I am to believe my ISP. Cable is supposed to be approx. 3 1/2 times faster than DSL.

For instance I can load this page in 0.09 seconds. ;D

I dont see much of a difference, and since my dad works for Bresnan Communications... our internet is $5 a month so I really dont mind .1 lol.

It's not that big a deal. Big improvement over dial up though. :)

yep... thats for sure... Once ya go cable... Never again will you go back to dialup...

I will just not use the internet before I use dialup... well, ok... maybe not but dialup would have to be my ONLY option.

My cable is pretty reliable. I rarely have outages. Maybe once every 3 mos it goes down for a few hours and when I call them they indicate they are working on lines in my area most times.

yep... thats for sure... Once ya go cable... Never again will you go back to dialup...

well i do, maybe my cable sucked but my pages don't seem to load too much slower only thing that is is when i download things so i just download them over night.

Opera is cool... Try Mozilla v1.7 beta... Sapposed to load pages an icredible time faster... Now when you are hitting .07 though, it might not be much faster, if any at all... But for page load times the 1.7 beta is sapposed to be king... We have comcast cable in my apartment... I had it in Nashville too before I came out to school... I love it... I enjoy DirectTV satellite a lot more than cable TV but for our internet I've never had problems with comcast; they even just doubled our download speed for free  :)
