I have been having a lot of problems with the auto programs working now.   I had them and even paid for them.  Computer kept freezing up a lot, so I did a full recovery with the recovery disks that came with my computer.   I have Windows 98SE.  I had all the programs and they were working perfectly, now that I have restored my computer, the only one that works is the one for word whomp whackdown.  On the slots, if I keep my mouse on the lever or the bet button, it will run automatically.  Turbo 21's will send the cards  all down the same lane.   As far as the other ones, they dont work at all.   I have done everything, like changing screen size, color settings, turned off the smooth edges, uninstalled java sun, reinstalled it, I also have Microsoft JVM, but if I dont use the sun one, my games in pogo will not load.  Would someone please let me know some other suggestions to try.  Thank you    >:( >:( >:(

It has to be a problem with your system. I know some users had ME issues. It should work with 98SE. Have you tried windows update? Maybe you don't have up to date browsers etc since you reloaded all the original software. Just a guess.

I did the recovery twice.  Yes I did all the critical updates too.  What I cannot understand is that one of the programs work, but the others dont.

Okay now, I have done another complete restore.  Still none of the programs work.  I also did another restore a second time.  Still not working.  Did the critical updates before I downloaded any of the programs.  When they didnt work, I made the changes to the smooth edging, color setting, etc.  What could be the problem, when they were working before I did any recovering.  Are there maybe some dll files I might be missing or some other files????

i had the same problem as you, deb. my problem was when i d/l'd all the critical updates, rebooted my computer, and tried to get into a game room, the blue "loading" screen would never go away. what did get pogo and all the autos working again like the are supposed to was formatting my computer, downloading the JVM off of pogo help, and downloading the autos again. i was lucky, however, because i kept the "system recovery" disk that was included with my computer. when i formatted my computer it only got rid of the files that were not orginally included with my computer when it was purchased. if you want to format your computer and have a cd-burner, you need to put all of your most important files in data CD-Rs, then proceed with the format. but if this is too drastic and you have a lot of important documents and files that you don't want to lose, then don't format. but this is the only thing i can think of.

Thanks tatersalad and DJ again for all your help.  Yes I have tried different browsers, the same situation, the programs still wont work.  My computer already has the JVM but did redownload it from pogo, still not working.

The only thing checked is the JIT compiler for virtual machine checked.  I have tried it with the others checked and unchecked and they still are not working.
