Downloaded Jigsaw Detector, and it says it's located the game and is "playing", but nothing happens.  Tried various speeds, and rebotting.  Tried starting it from within and before the game. It says it's playing, and the clock on the game counts down, but the auto doesn't do anything.  Let it go for about 10 minutes, to make sure. I searched past questions, and didn't find anyone else who had this problem.  Suggestions? I have the same problem on Mozilla and Internet Explorer.  I'm running XP on a T-1 line, all my other autos work great.

Could use some more info...

Homer says:

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better.

Ok. Let's see, I think already said I'm using Windows XP, and that I tried both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, but I"m also using Sun Java, 32 bit color, screen rez 1024x760, smoothing edges checked (also tried unchecked, since many other posts talked about that).  When I start the progam it says 100% remaining of the free trial, it can't find the game unless I park the window right on top of the game window, but I move its window on top of the game, and then it says "game located" and "playing", but nothing at all happens.  Thanks for your help!

You probably need to switch over to MSVM rather than Sun.

XP Doesn't come with MSVM.  You have to download it..

Go here:

https://www.alibre.com/alibrelibraries/ftp/JavaVM/9xNT4/msjavx86.exe

restart your computer.  It should be there then.

Go to Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced.  Scroll about halfway down, uncheck all of your Sun boxes and check all of your MSVM ones.  Restart your browser.

Thanks for sticking with me. I downloaded MS Java, unchecked all the Sun Java boxes I could find, but am getting the same problem.  The game says:

100% Shareware Left!

Found Game Window
Status : Playing ...

But nothing is happening, except the game clock is counting down.

It's been on for 12 minutes now, and nothing happens with the game.  Also the detector program isn't counting down as the shareware ever being used, it still says 100% left.  Thanks!

Barbara
