i got another problem, i just downloaded netscape 7.1 (probably for the 5th time) but it doesnt seem to want to open..i double click on the netscape icon an my mouse blinks but nothing happens...this is the first time outta all the times ive downloaded it that it wont open. Yes Ive already tried to redownload it and it does the same thing..anyone ever have this problem before?

oh an btw does mozilla have tabed browsing like the Crazy-browser, Opera, and aol browser does or is it like IE and netscape? because i just want a another browser like IE where each window opens seperatly.
                                                                                                                                   Thanks SkY

On Mozilla if you press Ctrl N it brings up a new window... If you Ctrl T it will bring up a new tab...

Element

which version of mozilla do you like best that works for pogo? just wanna make sure i get the good stuff lol  :P

fatkid

I usually run the nightly releases of the current beta version (this means I have to deal with the problems that arise with a beta program though)... Right now its Mozilla 1.7 rc1... But 1.6 works just fine (and isn't a beta release) and has always run stable for me w/ Sun JVM...
BTW Netscape 7.1 does tabbed browsing as well doesn't it?  I know you can open new windows but I could swear that since like 4.0 you could do tabbed browsing...

Yes, Netscape 7.xxx utilizes tabbed browsing. One of the main things they boast about. You can choose to open items in new windows however instead of tabs either by shortcut, contect menu, or program preferences. =)

Kool 1.6 works good for me in poker, just as long as it loads the games lol an yea that what i wanted (how it opens seperate windows) i now got IE, Crazy-browser (it sucks though how crazybrowser and IE are the same) Opera and mozilla im gonna try an put 3 names on poker now that would be some serious transferring lol

Press ctrl+alt+delete that will open the task manager, click on processes, look for Netscp.exe>right click on it>click on end process>click YES

This way you don't have to reboot or have a ton of user profiles, give it about 30 seconds after you ended the process before restarting Netscape.
Hope this helps

LuLu

I have the same problem with Mozilla.  I have to disconnect it from my running programs list and reconnect.  Does anyone know of anything else I could try?  I hate it when it keeps asking for the profile.

The same goes for Mozilla LuLu....do the following:
Press ctrl+alt+delete that will open the task manager, click on processes, look for Mozilla.exe>right click on it>click on end process>click YES

You may want to exit out the java icon by the clock, right click on it then click exit or close.

Hope this helps
