I downloaded Spiderfighter after restoring my computer, becaue of a missing file problem i have been having, and now that i downloaded SpiderFighter, i can not get it to work. I opened it, and it showed up on my screen, but it then goes behind the game window, and sits there. I minimize the game window, and it says "Please Start Spider Solitare in your browser", so i bring the game window up, and it goes behind it again. Does anyone know why its doing that?

Operating System: Windows XP Home
Browser: Internet Explorer 6
Screen Resolution: 1024x768
32 bit color
Smooth fonts: unchecked
What i was doing: described above

Out of curiosity, what file were you missing?

I'd check your java and make sure you're just using MSVM.

If that doesn't work, I'd redownload the auto.

And if that doesn't work, I'd delete your RDSS game.

I got the badge, actually my wife got it for me, LOL. I get this box at weird times, i get a box show up on my screen every time i tried to open certain things. I dont know why. I dont know how to fix this either. I have AVG Anti-Virus and windows firewall, Webroot Spy Sweeper, Ad-Aware, so i kbow its not a virus doing it, or SSpyware. What would cause me to get this message, and how do i fix it? Thanks in advance

Error Message:

Component 'mscomctl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Dad, I'm gonna PM you a link that should solve your problem.

ProudDadOfOne

I got your PM, but I cant reply. It says i am not allowed to send private messages. I downloaded the file, and extracted it, but still have the problem. UGH!

Jeffer

Yeah, you can't send a PM until you have 50 posts.

Um, did you restart your computer after downloading the file?

If not my next answer would be to go to Google or Microsoft and run a search for 'mscomctl.ocx'.

ProudDadOfOne

Thanks for your Help Jeffer, I tried what you did, restarted my computer, but still had the problem, so i did a search in dogpile, and found a site where i could download all the library files, and they are all registered now, and now i have no problems.
