Is it easier to play on hard and work up to z to get badge or to play on easy or medium and then switch to hard later to get badge. can that be done? or does anyone know the easies way  to get this badge.

Play on HARD setting.
The rank % goes up faster.
This is a Long and tedious game to earn 1 badge.

There will come a point where you have to play the hard level to advance anyway.  You might as well get used to it.

Once you play enough to recognize the not so common words, it becomes easier and easier to play.  I play on hard and still maintain around a 97% win ratio.

Toughest thing on hard is you have to be REALLY quick right off the start.  Very little time is given at the beginning, and you have to grab some words quickly to build up your clock.
