Hi Playa,

Do you really think that's appropriate content for the online equivalent of a playground for children?

I ask because the webmasters at matmice, three teenaged girls, have been very helpful at removing illegal crack software for me and because it seems to me like a betrayal of their goodwill. Even the page name you chose seems to violate their terms of service.

Plenty of other free homepage services exist. I wonder whether you might choose a different one and leave matmice for its intended use and audience?

I see what he is talking about.  3 girls have went to extreneous lengths for thousands of students, and adults who just want a simple home page, usually about themselves.

They did not intend their pages to use up bandwidth that only has links to programs.  And, drunkinass for a name is unnacceptable in my eyes too, for 3 young ladies that have done amazing things.

Nowhere else does it say anything about wasting up their bandwidth to provide a page with links...  For the rest of this argument all I really have to say is grow up...  Bob you quoted it best once... "Don't sweat the small stuff.  Everything is small stuff", or something to that nature...  So he used the word ass... Uh ho... So he made a page to help distribute DJs auto programs... Oh dear... Now were getting into some heavy sh*t...  Come on guys... Is there really enough here to look down on playa?  He just wanted to make a friggin' website to help put out DJs autos... Just leave him alone...  :P

and i find it strange that Bob would be concerned  with  the TOS of a website when his bussiness is makeing things that are in violation of the TOS of another site.I saw nothing wrong on that matmice page nor do i see anything wrong with what pogopal does i guess this is a case of one hand washing the other.

I have no doubt that a service intended for six, eight and ten year olds is easy to use. I don't see how that excuses you using up a resource offered for free for children or for leeching off the hard work of the three young women who created the service for free.

Are you suggesting you lack the necessary skill or the ability to acquire the necessary skill to create a similar page on geocities or at your local ISP? I have no doubt you can find other hosts that are easy enough for you to use.

If you want to be a drunken ass, go right ahead. There are appropriate places for doing that, and a playground for children is not one of them. Think about it.

Also think about the tragedy of the common and how your actions might someday deprive the children for whom these young women have toiled.

Why does DJ need another website to distribute his programs(which are great BTW). Isn't Pcheats distributing them for you - for free. I kinda agree with Bob on this one. Matmice is a website for children to create websites. As far as I know A-playa or XXX or whatever is a full grown drunken man. What happens when every Tom, dick, and harry abuse matmice? THEY CLOSE. Then where will the children make there sites. How simple is that. But then again, WTF do I know.

I dont see a thing wrong with his site either, except for where it is posted.  That Mat Mice was created and is ran by 3 young ladies.  They intended the site to be aimed at people who want to create simple homepages for children.

I heard that saying once on IRC, if I remember correctly I was on irc.addictz.net in the chan #datavault... After that I found a website (www.f*ckyew.com to be exact) that had lots of photos like the one you posted, and I found that same pic listed there...
