I have got to rank 5 - arrowhead by doing just that - clicking new game till you get a board with loads of words. It's miles quicker than just doing the boards they give you.

Yes, we are aware that there is a new Word Whomp game now.

Whomper is being updated to work with the new game.

There are several things you can do right now:

1. Wait a day or 2 for the update. Yes, it will be free for registered customers.
2. Use WordzWizard. It is not auto but it will help you solve the puzzles.

Now am I having a blonde moment  :o (very likely IMO) but where is the High Score table on the new Word Whomp? It keeps coming up with the green "Congrats *username* 1102 is one of today's high scores" like it does, but I haven't seen a High Score tab anywhere in the room. Like I say it's either a blonde moment or Pogo forgot to put it in. LOL

No high score board.  What I don't like is that it flashes your name constantly.  So, I've been playing on level one and getting all but the last word.  It keeps my name from flashing.  Also, I like Whateva75's idea about hitting new game until you get a puzzle with a lot of words.  Only, I enter one word and then hit new game.  It keeps my stats from being 100%.

I noticed that it didnt clear your stats out, so i am only at 47% win rate from all the times since 2004 when i first played it.   then i just won a whole bunch but didnt clear my stats, so i will never have 100%

and that word finder thingy is amazing lol

An auto has to be able to read the screen exactly as it is.  The game screen has changed, causing the auto to have to be updated.  Badgehelp will announce as soon as it is ready.

Until they get an auto out, there is always <a href="http://www.wordplays.com/fcgi-bin/jumble.pl">WordPlays</a> to help you out. REALLY helping me spell all those words and advance 3% at a time. Plus it's not against Pogo's TOS and there is more than enough time to enter those 6 letters and do a search. I'm burning through the ranks and maybe 1½ hours away from getting rank 10 and my badge!

hmm...maybe they are slowly being cleared?? mine still says since march 2 2004.............anyone else's stats been cleared?

No, mine is 54% since 2001.  I'm only concerned about the current session.  Don't want any snitches to see a high percentage and go browsing through my badges.  I'm still trying to hide the badges from the RDSS glitch.

I have both and stil cant get either of them to work for the New whomp..

which isnt surprising  considering I had a Heck of a time getting the Whack to work... although I do have my Golden Carrot.

is there something in particular I am missing... to not be able to get it to work

When is the first theme?? There's no info about ranks or themes in the how to play section of the game...how annoying LOL
and dont you just hate when they give u a stat to reach for a badge...like 10000 words...but then it never even shows you how many words you have? It just annoys me a little, a lot of the pogo games are like that.  
If anyone finds about the themes...post it please....thanks!
