The word whomp special edition badge will be the week of September 28-October 4.  You will have to find every word twice, in a row.

Also,

October 5 - October 11
Checkers
Double Decker Badge
Win 6,000 tokens this week

Get a straight or better 15 times this week

3 monster hands was done in 2003 and  the 2 black cats  was in 2004 for Spooky Slots.

You're absolutely right, I thought those descriptions sounded familiar. Even the dates listed are from 2003. If there is any kind of badges tied in with Halloween this year, the dates would be Oct. 26-Nov. 1. Good catch.
