Did they scrounge the bottom of the scrap pile of discarded bots to use for this game? Is it me or are they acting much dumber? At least when I play they seem to exchange letters very frequently, whereas I have yet needed to do that.. I have always found a spot for a word, and I'm not usually an ace at these types of games. Maybe the bots are going easy near the beginning to lure you into some false sense of confidence or something only to smash you down later, I don't know.. but I've found it a little too easy to beat them so far.

LOL as long as there isn't any changing of diapers and incessant crying from them.. I would welcome them to get a little more edgy than what they appear to be now.

They do get edgier.  I just hit rank 9 and a rumble is about to break out.  I am in a haze here, fueled by the Halloween candy I tore into and the Diet Mountain Dew I have been chugging.  I am still in my pajamas and I have to keep looking at my checkbook to remember my name.  For a while there I thought I was named Wilmington Trust.  I am not stopping now. Pogo be damned!

Ya know.. it may seem a bit odd as I didn't think it worked this way.. but before, I was playing in rooms under the "beginner" tab, and now when I switched to the intermediate rooms, the bot seems to be playing words much more often, and obscure words too, and a lot of the time making 2 words on one move.. so perhaps the bots in the higher skill level rooms are also more skillful? Even tho I have yet to play a rated game and my rating is at the default 1500, perhaps just being in intermediate gets you better bots.

It didn't stop me from still kicking it's metallic butt tho lol.

i just got the first badge and ive noticed that it gets harder as you go along too ...but me thinks this is the fastest first badge i have ever gotten......i love this game and like Barb will not use an auto for it

Max just called, as he always does at 2:30 AM to make sure that I am still playing Pogo.  He said that since I am playing in a master rated room that it makes a difference.  God, I am going to feel like a dope once the numbness leaves my brain.

thats why im staying in an unrated mode until if and when they add ratings badges.......i dont have much of a brain left any way at age 47...i dont want to lose whats left

I loooove this game. . . I'm no good at scrabble and I guess for me it helps that I can only build on my own words. I think this is by far the fastest first rank badge I have ever won! LOL

shhhhhhhhhhhh Pogo will make the bots smarter, and right now it's clear sailing for me. The bots haven't beat me once......yet!   ;D
