I wish I could flame you, but this is precisely what Bob did....he forced people to switch over after they purchased the Vac.....you can either upgrade to StarSweeper and keep on truckin' or you can get a refund and it will be taken directly out of Bob's commissions. Choice is yours.

I'm not talking about any Stellar Sweeper program, as I have not purchased either. I'm mainly talking about WCSolo to whatever the new one is.

Running a business is hard work and Oscar, as the owner, has the right to do whatever he pleases, including employing programmers.  Any programmer can also open his own business, if he pleases, too.  None of this is anyone's business and as long as the autos work, I don't care who makes them.

It was inevitable that Pogo would fix the glitch, making the whole point  about which auto is better moot.

Keep up the good work Oscar.

But he, nor anyone, has the right to manipulate MY computer which is my biggest problem (the recurring icons/directories). I also don't care who makes the autos. And, I never said anything about the glitch.

As with any company, when there is personel changes...some new/old workers must clean up messes left behind. I'm about 99% sure Oscar and Joshua will fix some new autos, make new ones, & continue on to help us rake in badges. In my opinion, if the other programs worked, why'd you delete em? Try em first, all updates had trial periods for a reason. There was no "forced upgrade" to a newer version. Did anyone try common sense? If it don't need fixin, keep it runnin. My oldies that still work fine, I kept em. And to the programmer of those...WTG & TYVM 4 them. I doubt Oscars dumb enough to keep non working autos available.

I deleted them because, stupid me, I read that I had to re-register programs. So, again I say stupid me, I trusted what I read from Oscar or whomever, and re-downloaded the necessary programs.

And, I don't know why you're talking about a trial period. As I mentioned, I used the trial period on the autos I originally purchased. That is why I bought them, and that is why I wish I still had those as opposed to the other crap going around now.

Well said. Again, I've started this business over 4 years ago and nothing will change.

ok, i've been away a bit and obviously have missed something important going on here and I'm a bit confused.   I purchased all the auto's sometime ago and recently purchased a new computer in the last month.  When I went to get all my codes for the auto's on my new computer I was informed to just submit them as I use them.  Well I have only used about 10 or so, so I still have a lot of codes to get for those games I have not played.  My questions are will it still be the same auto's that I purchased back then?  Should I go ahead and get all my codes now since I don't know which ones Bob created or which ones are being changed?  It may be months before I request some of the game codes for those games that I seldom if ever play (only on challenge day :) ) and I would hate to request an auto to find it doesn't work anymore for me.   A little help and guidance if you don't mind please.

BTW, I'm still using space vac, works better for me then starsweeper.  Starsweeper is faster for sure, but on my machine it always hangs and since i'm at level 22 I'm gonna stick with it.

Love this site and those great auto's (finished qwerty yesterday  8) hope that any issues get resolved and this becomes just a "thing of the past".

We will let you know what you need to delete if you send us a code

O0 I have stayed out of this because it is none of my business, but I'm having a hard time understanding all the bitterness that has been going on at this site for the last few days. I can read hear say about what happened at badgehelp, but thats still none of my business. Oscar tries to do right by his business by fixing some autos and getting rid of others. Most of you have been chewing is A$$ over changing some of them or some of them not working. OK when I go to the store to buy some software for my computer and it says it might not work on my particular machine do I call the company who made it and call them all, but what they are no. I feel you guys need to lay off the caffeine and take some Midol because it just doesn't make any sense to turn on the hands that have feed you for this long. This is solely my opinion I'm sorry if it offends anyone.

But, what you're missing is that people have paid for autos after testing them and making sure they work. For there to be a forced "upgrade" to a newer version that doesn't work is scamming people out of their money because we no longer have what we paid for.

In the case of your example, if you go buy a program unaware of wether or not it will work, that's a risk you take. However, in this situation, people try the autos to remove that risk and so we know what we're getting.

And, I doubt any software you buy at the store will "phone home" to the programmers and say "Make this person get a product OTHER than what they paid for". It's invasive and it's taking away what we rightfully paid for. We, the buyers, should decide wether or not we want the "upgrade", especially considering it may not work as well as the original that we have. Does Windows automatically stop functioning and force an "upgrade" when a new version comes out? No. Because that is, in a way, fraud.

Flame me all you want. I don't consume caffine, nor do I need Midol. I just wish I could KEEP what I spent my money on.
Well then since you feel so strongly about keeping what you paid for then I want to do this for me. Take the time to navigate to the microsoft website and procede to write a complaint the costomer support about how when you purchased your computer your OS was fine there is no reason for them to change or upgrade it or even make updates for that matter. Flame you I will not, and you might not need midol but your tunnel vision on this subject is quite astounding. Aside from that stellar sweeper is the only auto that changed so that you could not use it. Now it doesn't even matter because the glitch is gone and the new work rocks for me. Finally you are upset over a cheat program that isn't even leagal to use by pogo standards. After all of this if you are still flamed up I would offer to send you your ten dollars so that you quit complaining.

If this was directed to me-  I neither need midol or caffeine products-  and you were offensive and meant to be-  I was not chewing anyone out-  all I said was I could not use his autos and the reason why.  If you have only 1 programmer then you are stuck with the way that one particular programmer does his programs- if you have two different programmers then you have a great option for things that work for you-  All I am saying is being that that option got taken away rather good or bad (I don't care what Oscar does with his business - it's his right) it gives me no options.  That is all I am saying.  Its like getting the option between mustard or mayo - you at least have an option if you only like one or the other or you may chose to have both.  Now I have neither-  I get stuck with plain old sandwich hehe..  Well I'm sure this makes no sense to some - but who cares- what I wanted to get across is I am NOT complaining - just stating a fact- that HIS autos will not work well with my computer and believe me I have no dud-  I have a top line computer- up to date with everything- but don't like the way things get changed around with Josh's (not saying his autos are bad- they aren't- the one for qwerty is awesome)  I just can't keep running autos that make me reboot my system after using it- its not worth the aggravation.

Ya know the whole reason for me finally posting was that I still don't understand what the problem is... The few of you have complained about having to change software ok. Then the whining about it installing a badge and a folder most programs do that or am I wrong autos are not programs. I mean some of the complaints were common sense issues and they were steadily gripeing about it. As far as autos not working there are some programers who only make autos for Windows XP and internet explorer. So what I suggest is take the good with the bad and deal with it. The way I see it we are all fortunate that they made them in the first place let alone to work on some many different machines. I'm done posting about this and will get on to finishing some games happy badge getting.

ME4SPADES_

well like i always say oscar your doing a great job and so are the other auto makers hat off to you all i say when the pogo switches the game for a new upgrade then so will the auto ppl they are fast getting them up and they do there best as they say there is alot of stuff you get are buy that has bugs in them i say it will be fix "DONT WORRY BE HAPPY" im a person they will always buy them no matter what so oscar im on your side and your are a good person some of the other auto site well to me they will never be better then you all all your auto makers so keep up the good works

CindyLouWho

I think Oscar & everyone else associated with this forum & Badgehelp do a tremendous job & deserve a lot of credit.    :D  (That includes the forum members that help other members when they need it.)    O0

Since the changes just started the last couple of days, we should be patient & give them time to get things worked out as I'm sure they will.   (In the meantime lets work on badges, badges, & more badges, lol)  :)

ah, drama...

Isn't it amazing how we all get sucked right in?  I pride myself on not getting myself involved in this s*#t...usually.  Today however was a different story...so, Oscar, I apologize for my trash talkin' from earlier today.  It's election day, I get fired up about politics.....and the rest is history.  Sorry to take my bad day out on you.

Let's get back to work on those badges people...isn't that what we first came here for?

So who wants to share their Midol? I have a fresh martini and I could sure use the fix right now...  :-*

Just one more thing...Is Homer still around to tell us who won the football challenge?  I figure I got WAY better odds now... :P

Have a good night all....

Yeah. Stellar Sweeper is the only one that changed. I shouldn't be upset. I'm soooooooo sorry to have annoyed you.

Convenient that WC Solo stops working on badge day, and the new piece of crap auto one  is what I'm stuck with.

Damn...proved you right, didn't I.  :-[ I'll stop complaining now.

The new auto is not a piece of crap.

FlightPlan does not "miss cards" it is looking at all of its options. Just let the dang thing play. It wins 70-80% of its games

your right it does work it might not work the 1st time but adjust the speeds in the auto & it will work for u its working great for me now :)

Blu

Jeez Flightplan works, I ran it and it's gotten 3000+ tokens so far...45 minutes. It does flip through cards and finds best option. The obvious move isn't always the best. Give it a few shots for God's sake, LadyMystic. Are you frustrated you weren't the 1st annoying pogoer in the room to type "6000/6000, woohoo got my badge gl all"? Why don't you call Bill Gates and chew him out for "forcing" Windows updates thay YOU paid for that worked fine before.
