has anyone noticed a problem with the Spider Solitaire game?

I thought there was something wrong with the auto and did everything I could think of to solve the problem. After 1 game, it would just sit there, saying FATAL ERROR - CANNOT FIND CARDS.
I then noticed that the game screen itself didn't reset to being rainy, it was still sunny like when you win a hand. If I close the game and open it again, the auto works fine....until the next game, lol
I tried turning the auto off and finishing the game by hand and it still doesn't work. If you lose the hand, it stays rainy and the auto works. It's only when you win that the background of the game stays sunny. Anyone have any suggestions?? I even tried a spider auto from another site (shhhhhhh, 1000 APOLOGIES!!) just to check and see if it happened with that too. It did so I think the problem is with the game itself.  MAYBE????

My stats are:
1.   WINDOWS XP
2.   Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox   (tried both and tried AOL browser also)
3.   32 bit color
4.   1024x768 resolution  (but have tried 800x600 also)
5.   Smooth edges UNCHECKED
6.   Sun Java and MSVM  (have run one then the other then both, doesn't seem to make a difference)
7.   Spider Fighter 2
8.   2.0
9.   won't play more than one game after winning a hand

spider solitaire always does that to me and even on multiple computers. don't really know if it ever goes back to rainy after you win but even playing by hand and winning multiple hands it just stays a mix of gray and orange

It's definitely the game that has the problem. It's been doing that to mine as well and I haven't used an auto on it. The first game is always fine, perfect the way it's supposed to be, but once you win a hand and the spider goes up the spout and the sun comes out.. it stays that way for every game after that. And when you get other stacks from A-K done and a ray of sunshine comes down with it, it makes another ray kinda on top of the ones that are already there making it look real weird. I'm hoping someone else has informed Pogo about it cuz I can't stand to go through all the steps in their questions page.

According to the BH site the lastest SpiderFighter is version 3.5 and was released 23/12/05.  Try that and see if it works :)
