I did some things which SEEM to have fixed mine- I just got to rank 20.
In the MENU part of the playing screen, I unchecked ALL the cookies for the ranks except for the ones which do things- such as change to another type, etc.

While advancing through the ranks, one picks up quite a few new ones and I THINK this might be what was hanging up my computer just before it finished the game. I noticed that the program seemed to be searching for the Queen game card cookies to get full screenshots after the Queen of Hearts matching game.
After I unchecked about 9 different new cookie colors and shapes " earned" in the game play, the program stopped searching for the Queen of Hearts game, although I left those cookies active.

Is there a connection? I don't know, but thought I would share what seemed to help my program play easily again. :)

its working very good on aol brouser not on msn though the only 2 things i notice every once and a while it will stop in middle of game all i do is hit a cookie and it starts right up again and sometimes when i go to close program it wont close so i right click by clock and use task manager to end program im sure theres 2 bugs will be fixed soon great program anyway

Mine is doing the same thing.  I think it'is the new cookies in the higher ranks.  Oscar asked for screen shots of ranks 6 - 11, I think it was.  I don't know if they got to all of the cookies or not.
So like someone else said.  Turn off the newer cookies.  It seems to help and my cookie cutter is still working just fine.

just let it be when the game clock counts down it will start over and the helper
works again . so realy nothing to worry about

 My shakin bake wiil not shake more then 5 minutes.  It just freezes.  I have to click on a cookie and it will start.     My spec's are
Window XP
Aol 9.0  IE  Mozilla
MSVM
768 x1024
32 bit color
font uncheck
and by the way the I know that the BH team is doing all they can to keep us up and going.  Ty

I believe the animation could be the problem. Try opening up your "cookie book" in Wonderland Memories and "uncheckmark" the Tweedle Cookie & Hatter Cookie. Close the game window and reload it and let me know if that fixes the problem. I am currently working on resolving the "sticking" issue.
