Go Cavs!

That ball DID hit Mathis' leg and NFC should get a touchdown, and the blind-ass referees cant even challenge it. Dumb NFL rules.

I think of all the all star games in all the sports, the Pro Bowl has to be the worst and most useless and boring of all. There is nothing exciting about this spectacle and it's really nothing more than a free trip to Hawaii for the players involved (at least the ones who actually agree on going). I can watch all star games from any of the other pro sports.. hockey, baseball, heck even basketball.. and get something from it, but football.. there is very little reason, if any, to watch that. It barely even resembles an actual NFL game.. so people who think, 'well it's another week of football before the long offseason', are just fooling themselves for just that reason. May as well watch some arena football, would probably be more exciting anyway.

what makes it worse is football is the only sport to have the all star game when the seasons over.to me that adds to the boringness of it.

That's true, but there's really nothing that can be done about that, there's no other way they could do it. Being that football only has 16 games for the season. You would have to judge players by what they've done in approximately 8 games, or less (and if it's directly in the middle of the year, some teams would have had their bye weeks and others wouldn't, meaning some guys could play less games.. and you'd have to have all the selections made in advance of the game with plenty of notice to the players, so that would probably take an extra week at least, so even less games played- 6 maybe?). And with the bye weeks, the only way to have them and an all star game during the season, would be to make everyone's bye week the same week of the pro bowl, so the players who play in that wouldn't even get a full week off, otherwise there would be 2 weeks off during the year (and 1 is plenty).

It does suck to have to play an all star game after a full season and exciting playoffs and a super bowl are played.. it just doesn't live up to what has just finished. But I understand it has to be that way. What makes it more boring, is that it's always in the same place, Hawaii. Other sports at least rotate the game around to different cities among their teams. They could at least do it the way they do the Super Bowl- have it in a warm climate city or one with a dome.. that way one city can get the Super Bowl and one the Pro Bowl for the year.. 2 cities could benefit every year instead of just one. Why does Hawaii get to benefit every year from a league that doesn't even play there? It'd be like having the NHL all star game in Alaska every year.. meaningless.
