My husband and I were in Lottso tonight to see how it was revamped. and My husband got a notepad file dumped on his desktop marked "notpad java script detection file"  The only thing we use Java for is Pogo. This has happened before. We do not own any auto's but we use the free trials from time to time.  Our computers are networked together. Below is a copy of the file  Does this mean ANYTHING to anyone? BTW  we were NOT using the auto at the time the file was dumped. Any help would be appreciated.

i`ve gotten that before an eav was a box that pop up when i started a game does`nt mean nothin i just closed game and restarted and never got one again i thought it was a detector of some sort at first almost fell out of chair lol some where on the forum is a post about it lol i was told it was nothing to worry about cuz they got them before my first time in years but havent seen any since but any way nothin to worry about  O0  and i should say mine did`nt have all that but you said you open a note pad i just got a box that poped up in front on my game that said access violation etc  :)

SI

Like Mama said, it's nothing to worry about.  You simply have logging enabled for Java; if it ever crashes or incurs an error, it dumps any and all relevant data to a text file.  Sometimes Pogo or other sites that run Java applets might ask for the dump file IF you experience consistent problems; from there, they can check to see whether it's something on your end or their's that is causing the problem.

hiya, i did a check on the sun java site for that problem an they speak of it there.
An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine

SYMPTOMS

Error Message: "An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine"
An application or applet has crashed the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). As result, a file with filename beginning with hs_err has been placed on the desktop.

There could be many reasons for the JVM crash. We are currently investigating the exact root cause of this problem. Here is a list of some possible causes.
The applet or application that you were running may contain programming errors or bugs that caused the JVM to crash.
You may be running an older version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) which contains bugs that can cause the JVM to crash.

WORKAROUND

This particular problem is currently under investigation. The workaround for this problem is:
Check to see if the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is installed correctly on your system. If you are able to run the testvm applet, then the JRE is installed and configured correctly on your system. The problem may be specific to that particular applet. The applet may contain programming errors or the website is having technical difficulties. In that case, please contact the web site administrators or the software vendor to notify them of this issue.
Test Java Virtual Machine
Download and install the latest version of the JRE. The latest version may contain update or fixes to your problem.
Install the latest version of Java Runtime Environment

~~seems they are in process of fixing it, so keep an eye on the java sun site for  the fix. hope i could help:)     ~~pink~~
