I haven't been following this thread so I am not sure if this has been posted but I saw a couple of items in my celebrity nooz ragmag email that you may enjoy.

Simon Cowell Blasts Prince...   

American Idol judge Simon Cowell has turned his famous barbed   
comments on Prince after being appalled by the pop superstar's   
surprise performance at the show's finale last week.   

Prince sang two new songs before dashing off, refusing to meet   
the Idol contestants or greet the audience.   

Idol host Ryan Seacrest also mentioned that he was very nervous   
and worried that Prince would be a no-show because he was not to   
be found and appeared just minutes before he was due to hit the   
stage.   

And Cowell insists Prince's attitude isn't one he'd like Idol   
winners to display at any time in their career. He says, "It just   
tells you how selfish he is. He comes on, not a word - 'I'm not   
gonna sing with anybody else, I'm not gonna say goodbye.' Thank   
you for your generosity, Prince."

I guess you can add Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to the list of

runner-up Katharine McPhee to sing at their upcoming wedding.   
Katie reportedly met Katharine at the Los Angeles' Church of   
Scientology, where the singer allegedly attended courses with   
her boyfriend. Katie has since become a huge fan and asked her   
to perform at their wedding ceremony after she lost out to Taylor   
Hicks. A source close to the couple says, "Tom and Katie have   
become Katharine's biggest fans. They think she's destined to   
become a singing legend."   

And Tom's friend, director Steven Spielberg, is also a big   
McPhee fan. Word is he has set up a meeting with the Idol star   
to discuss a possible future in films.
