I'll be waiting for the PS3 also, from what i've seen of the 360 it doesn't really show you what this system is capable of doing. It does look prettier (the games) but i feel they are rushing this system too early. Anyways, can't wait for RE4 hopefully next month.

That's not correct the Xbox will be $299 or $399 depending on configuration. I haven't heard a price on PS3 but I suspect it will be close to the competitions price. The purchase price of the games does not matter to me I rent as a general rule. I don't believe they will charge $100/game either.

I have it now but haven't started it. Have to finish Xmen Legends first. I'll let you know. The first one was certainly disappointing from at least from a gameplay point of view. I'll probably play it in the next day or so. ;)

Just started playing X-Men II and the list of characters that are available to control is better than i thought. They have so many from throughout the X-men timeline that i had forgotton about. :)

So how bad is the Doom movie going to be? Just heard that Peter Jackson is going to be the director for the Halo movie coming in 2007. Not many movies have been succesfull that started as video games.

Yeah...the Final Fantasy movie sucked eggs. The cut scenes from the game are better. ???

The only really decent video game movie was the original Mortal Kombat, i think the worst was Super Mario Bros. or Double Dragon movie :-[

I kinda liked the Lara Croft movies, the Tomb Raiders, and I'm not even a video game nut lol.. but then those movies can kinda stand on their own, whether they were based on video games or not.

final fansty  7 movie kicked ass...i liked it....also final finasty games were very good to O0
also the new consoles coming out were suppose to be 600 and games 100 but then they thought about it and figure they would make much money on it if they did that..so the prices are drops to around 250-350 and the games not sure

I work at a gaming store, and if the xbox games were priced  at 100 bucks, we would be sitting on lots of stock----"some" of the xbox 360 titles for launch will be 49.99 and the rest wil be 59.99, xbox 360 the crappy core system is 299.99 and the bundle is 399.99, also you DO NOT need high def tv to play the games, that would be ludacris, most people still cant afford high def, microsoft isnt that stupid, greedy, but not stupid. Also, we got in those game boy micros and they ARE tiny, at 99.99 a pop, i dont know if we will be selling them that fast, havent sold any yet, but im thinking some kid is gonna put one on his xmas list-lol, anyways....Hey Homer, I picked up the suffering:ties that bind, im also behind on my gaming too. right now x-men legends 2 is the biggest seller, that and pokemon xd for the Cube(go figure) HAPPY GAMING ALL!! O0 O0 O0

I'm currently playing through "Sphinx and the cursed mummy" for PS2.  The game didn't really get good reviews because the game was pretty hard- lots of puzzles that require a lot of thought.  I guess that's not popular with the kiddies these days. :P   The more you have to think your way through, the better for me.

I got a Playstation for Christmas the year they came out...so I've accumulated about 60+ games for PS1.  Bought a PS2 a year ago and have about 20 games for it.  I really wish that I had kept my Nintendo with it's 30+ games along with my Atari and it's 15 games.  What I would do to sit down and play some old school Nintendo or Atari. :o

As for the Xbox 360 or PS3 debuting for 600.00 (reading up above a bit)- I highly doubt that and have not heard that number thrown out there.  I would expect both of them to come out swinging at 299.99.  With the large following of dedicated PS gamers, why would they bring out a system retailed higher than 300?

Either way, I can't wait for the next generation in gaming to hit the masses.
