My kids/son got spoiled ROTTEN this past Christmas and got a Wii AND a Guitar Hero.  They are driving me nutty!  I woke up this morning with Surrender playing over and over in my head....  LOL  Mamas alright, Daddys alright, they just seem a little strange... Surrender, Surrender  LOL

I never buy. I rent from www.gamefly.com It's much cheaper and you can always send the duds right back.

how long does GF take to get a new game? i send one out..and it takes over a week all the time..you get the center in pitt right?

I don't know where they come from. Never much cared. I usually get mine in 3-4 days

I'm on the 4 game plan so I usually don't have to worry about waiting for something to play.

We used to do GF for my son and loved it!  Right now we have free rentals from Hollywood Video/Game Crazy because when you buy a game system there, you get 1 free rental per month for 12 months.  Well, we bought 2 Wii's, one for my son and one for my daughter/son in law/grandkids so we have 2 free rentals per month for a year.  AND, because we are frequent renters there, we often get additional free rental coupons in the mail.  The Wii systems were the same price everyone else was charging and my son always rents from Hollywood Video/Game Crazy anyway, so the $80.00+ worth of free rentals (because we would pay to rent anyway) makes the system that much cheaper.  BUT - I think you have a better chance of finding the games you want through Game Fly.

Sometimes you can't always get the game you want when you want it at gamefly but what I do is leave my game queue empty and make sure I leave one rental open so that when a new game is released it ships the same day.

My son's was doing that.... the green light would turn red.  It was over heating, so we had to move it for more air circulation.

May it RIP.   :$%   Did you know that it was such a big problem, that MS reimbursed people for their repairs?  Thank heavens we didn't have to go for repairs.

ya..i had to get mine repaired..they sent me a refurbished one so i just went out and bought a core system since i already had the HDD..the thing gets hot fast between call of duty 4, condemned 2 and nhl 08 which i have been hooked on lately

A special 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition of the Madden video game will be sold on Xbox 360 and PS3.  (Among other things, it will feature a version of the game in which every player is Brett Favre.)
