Pretty heartless to mock his weight at a time like this. I hope you all are in peak physical condition your whole lives and never gain weight after being so heartless.
A solid baseball player and champion nearly dies & your only comment is "man did he get fat." Unreal.

 :'( :'( I loved Kirby Puckett......yes he was out of shape after his exodus from baseball but jeez guys!  I heard they had to do surgery immediately and that he is in critical condition!   Good luck Kirby...my thoughts are with you man!

I just read it too. I remember growing up, I didn't watch baseball and didn't know anyone except for Dodgers players but I've heard of a select few names and Kirby was one of them. Thought he was a great guy wish I had a chance to see him play once. May he rest in peace.
