One more thing. Under where you put your avatar in, where it says Personal Text.  If you want something to show up in text under your avatar, just type it in. 

Like where I say "It's not my fault Homers covered in sparkles"

i know several of you have tried to explain it, and just as i thought i had it, all i see is a red box. im gonna try agian, but if someone could explain why id ont see it i'd appreciate it

here are the steps i am doing
1.click insert image icon and get -->
2.click on image shack browse
3. fine pic i want on pc
4. click host it (2nd screen pops up and shows four options

Just copy and paste the very first line of code.  All of it.  Don't add [img} brackets....

ImageShack gives you 5 sets of URL's

Just copy and paste the last URL The one that says "Direct Link To Image"

Paste the URL in your post.

Highlight the URL and click the Insert Image icon above the Smileys. It is the one that looks like a framed picture in the second row. Second option from the left. This will put the necessary tags on your image so it will display correctly.

I use the 1st line for signatures and the 5th line for avatars. Just like foxx said all of it. Make sure your box on your profile has everything deleted before you put the link in it.

Hey Peaches?  Have you tried creating an album at photobucket?  I have found it to be easier to use...and Lib? Don't you use that too? 

With Photobucket, after the pic is uploaded and in your album, you can just copy and paste the IMG one for inserting pictures into your siggy or into posts...and the http one for your avatar...
