These were scratch n' sniff stickers. They were popular in the late 70's / early 80's I believe.

My younger cousins had photo albums full of these stickers, and would always have them out during vacation showing them off. What I remember about them is that they really did smell like what the sticker showed on them.

I went to a couple of movies with "smell-o-vision".  At certain moments in the movie, something would flash on the screen and you had to scratch the associated spot on a card to smell what was going on in the film.  As a teenager, I thought it was a hoot.

I've never heard of that before - it would of been interesting to experience!
