that looks like daytona or cocoa beach  mayb I NO "playlinda" on my side east coast never looks like that......ur right ppl have no "respect" for the beaches.....ty for sharing :)

Such vast selfishness.  i don't care if it is Spring Break or whatever.  There's no excuse.  I see people throwing trash out of their cars all the time.  It's awful.

I saw a huge biker knock on a truck window and toss in a pile of cigarette butts and as he walked away he said "don't dirty my playground". Needless to say the big trucker was making sure his doors were locked. I wished they had cameras back then for moments like that. We have Surfrider.com show up on the day after a holiday with vollunteers which is when I took the photo. There was actually a couch there too!

BTW: It is a $1200 fine to toss anything from a car window and double on holidays.

I once watched someone stop their car on a road and empty out armfuls of trash.  It was A LOT of trash.  I called the police with the make and model and license plate number.  They told me they weren't interested.  They actually said they lacked the resources to enforce but it boiled down to NOT BEING INTERESTED.  I was so mad.

Here in San Diego I called the "info" number to report cigarettes being tossed out the window and got "I am sorry but the number you called is disconnected and there is no new number." I then chased the guy down to a theatre and went off on him by lying and saying my house was one of the 162 that burned just the month before. He lit up while I yelled at him and threatened to call the police - I BEGGED him to call the police. He just went into the theatre and as I went back to my car I realized that I have major anger issues that could possibly land me in jail for assault.

to change the mood I found this several years ago and never could find who did it but it is one of my favorite pics of all time.
