I've never understood the destructive nature of the celebrations.  I understand the drinking, the shouting and cheering, etc.  I don't understand the tearing apart of streetlights, overturning of cars, street fires, etc.

I haven't been following the back story - why is Philadelphia in danger of being destroyed?  I heard references from the commentators yesterday as well, but what is it about?
And why a cow in the cartoon?

Maybe I am getting too old for satire.

The Philly Eagles won the Superbowl and the fans are out in the streets creating damage, committing vandalism, etc.  They are doing this because they are happy about the win.  If their team lost, they would do the same thing, only then in anger/disappointment.   The cow?  I'm not sure but the cartoon looks like the cow has to make a choice which aisle to go down when it really makes no difference.  I suppose they could have used any animal, including a human.

Okay thanks.  I was worried about the cow having to make some type of weird Sophie's choice.  That's what threw me about the whole picture. So totally overthinking it. I have never understood celebrating by wrecking stuff.

This is a pretty good perspective on how large these redwood trees are.

I've been to see the sequoia's.  They are GIANTS.  We drove through one that was tunneled.

Don't forget to invite us.
BTW, I can't get a breakfast like that out of my own kitchen, never mind outdoors.  That looks great.
