Pogo Mobile - General Info & Badges

I don't see any of them. My phone is on the list. I went to Get it Now!, and I don't see any of the games listed. I went to Verizon's website, and did a search for the games, and didn't find them there either. Am I missing something?

Flip around on your cell phone and see if you can find them there.  That is what I did.

I wonder maybe if it's by geographical area? Maybe certain parts of the US get them earlier than others. As of right now I've still only found Turbo 21. Some people only have Tri-Peaks while others have nothing. So, I'm not sure what the catch is, lol.

when i first saw in the badge albumns that the mobile games were available and couldnt find it on my phone, Pogo said they were not being released until this weekend and anything claiming they were already available was a mistake on their part.

a few hours later when i tried looking on my phone again, turbo 21 was right there but none of the others. and Pogo's directions were a little off. for my phone it was the following:

hit the "get it now" button
click the shopping cart to go into the "get it now" area
select "whats new"
One of the games, or possibly all if your lucky, should be right up top

Pogo says to go to fun & games, which brings you to a bunch of categories with tons of games, and no Pogo Mobile within them. You need to check the "whats new" section first, they should be there. Or, you just have to wait for the official release this weekend.

i have verizon, but i have a cheap kyocera phone that isn't on the list. woe is me :(
maybe when my contract is up next year i can get a different phone that will let me play

I don't know if it has anything to do with where you're located. I'm in Las Vegas and I have it on my phone (as obvious since I started this post) but my GF doesn't have it on her phone. Since she loves Turbo 21, she kicked me off my phone last night and got all 5 badges already before letting my have my phone back. I can't stand Turbo 21 but for some reason, I'm kicking arse on this Mobile version. I can only hope I fair as well with Poppit or Tri-Peaks when it becomes available this weekend...

I got tourbo 21 for pogo moble but my pogo screen name has an underscore in it. I can't seem to find it when i try yo lig in. This sucks big time.  :'(

Here is Verizon's answer about using minutes to play the game:
I am glad to hear you are interested in our Get It Now games.  The minutes used
while browsing Get It Now and downloading applications are applied to your
monthly airtime allowance.  Most applications do not use airtime charges during
usage.  If you play your games during your night and weekend times, then it will
be free and unlimited.

try this....when you are typing in your name, push the 1 key several times, that is the key that usually has all the symbols, or the star key sometimes brings up a menu, or you may see options while entering the text for symbols, i know there is an underscore on my phone.  Hope this helps!

All  the star key is doing is making the word multitap go form lower case to uppercase.

have you tried pushing the 1 key to cycle thru the symbols?  this is how most cell phones are set up for writing text.

Yes i have LGVX70000. I can get the - but i can't grt this symbole_

hmmm.....well when i have to sign on yahoo w/ my cell phone while typing the name, i have a menu for symbols over one of the buttons.  this is just from my own experience....i dont know how your phone is set up.  maybe call verizon and get some techie help....sorry i couldnt help ya out....good luck though i am sure it can be done!!

My phone is also different than the directions. I have an LGVX8000. What I have to do is the following:

Hit the "Get it now" button
Hit "Fun and Games" (Or the 3 on the keypad)
Browse the categories.

I do not have a "What's New" section on my version of "Get It Now" But I check every section every few hours to see if anything else has come up, and I'm still just getting Turbo 21 which for me is under the "Casino Games" section of my Get it Now. I would assume that Popit and Tri-peaks will be listed under the "Strategy Games" category, but I keep checking them all just to be sure, but nothing yet.  :'(

The list of phones this is available on is not necessarily accurate. My phone is on the list but when I called verizon today they said that my phone can not get those games. I told them they can kiss my big yellow butt because I'm canceling my Verizon plan as soon as it is up. By far they have provided me with the most expensive but least reliable service. If I ever catch that "Can you hear me now?" guy he'll hear me all right. >:(

Same here, same here.  :P

I would rather work on Tripeaks first because I am terrible at Turbo 21 and would rather save that as a last resort, so I am just sitting around waiting.

is anyone in the east coast able to get it.  I am in PA and have been all around my get it now and it's not there.  Guess I may have to wait until this weekend...

I'm in western PA and have Turbo21 on my phone, so you should be able to get it. I only have T21 for now, no other games yet. :-\
But I aleady have my first badge in T21 though! :)
