Hey...I was wondering if anyone has a recipe for Buffalo Chicken Dip...had it once at one of those Partylite parties and cannot find a recipe anywhere....

Homer

Is this what you had in mind?

INGREDIENTS:
2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup Ranch dressing
3/4 cup pepper sauce, such as FranksĀ® Red HotĀ®
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces
1 (8 ounce) box chicken-flavored crackers

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on Low setting until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Hmmmm....Buffalo Chicken dip or Taco cream cheese dip this weekend?  MMMMM...maybe both...

Homer

I so love anything with cream cheese in it.

In fact I use Cream Cheese in my version of Beef Stroganoff. It thickens the sauce quite nicely so the gravy sticks to the noodles. ;)

I know this is technically "old" ...

Foxx did you ever make this? And how did it turn out?

We have a family/everyone I've never met bbq this weekend  (Excuse for everyone to drink) and I was looking for something different to make. This group enjoys the munchier stuff ... btwn pool, darts, euchre, closest to the pin golf, the kids fishing and the booze flowing ... Anything that takes too much time is just a waste.

Yes...I totally forgot to come back and say so!

I make it all the time now...Its so effing 'licious.
