I don't know about that...every team in the NL west is currently above .500

Only division in baseball that can say that. Are the Padres (or whoever wins that division) going to have a chance against St. Louis or the Mets...heck no. But it is still a pretty competitive division top to bottom...IMHO.

For some unknown reason (yeah right), I haven't seen jim around to explain how the Mariners lost yet again. That's 3 in a row and right back in last place again, correct jim? Even worse, you lost to a team now tied for 1st in the division. These little games matter if you want to depend on a tiebreaker (which we know won't be needed). Well, there is always the Padres this weekend. Here's hoping y'all get at least 1 win!

I don't care if the Mariners win or not-I'm still a Mariners fan. (I'm still holding fast to my reality that somehow, someday they will win the world series.)

I just enjoy a good baseball game.

I'm surprised Jim hasn't been around. I find him a constant source of amusement

jim wheres the excuses? if the yankees lost like that you would be swearing up and down that torre will be canned and players traded and that their year is over ::)

Mariners r just in a little bit of a slump. They had a closed door meeting for 1 hr after last night game. I"am sure we will see a win tonight and many more to come after this meeting O0

Ummmm, hate to tell you but The White Sox already won the 1st game. That's why Bobby said "sox take the cubs". That game is already over so they can't sweep if they already loss.
