question about pinochle clearing stats

i reached my advance badge almost have my rank 50 badge, my question is i am down in the low 1300's cannot seem to get back up to 1699, i was wondering if i clear my stats to start again at 1500 will lose all my badges??  appreciate an answer thank you

I don't think clearing your stats will reset your rating...according to msg I recd from Pogo--the only way to get 1500 rating back (without playing etc) is to make a new name.  I would not delete them if I were you....not just to try for rating increase..

Sorry forgot your other question ..I think you will be able to keep your badges if you delete your stats, but will start you all over.

Again, the above info was given to me personally when I asked Pogo a similar question...the main answer from them was only way to get new rating is with a new name..If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me :)

You won't lose any badges you have already won, but you rank will start over just like all your other stats so you would be back to rank 0 or 1, whichever rank it starts at, so you should wait til you get the last rank badge or you will have to go thru all the ranks again.  As for progress towards the advanced, master, etc badges, I have no idea about them being reset, but you will still have the ones you won also.

As a pino player I can tell ya ... that is Pogos way of making you crazy. You get up to A drop waaaay down, and if you keep working at it you'll be purple. I know it sounds crazy, but Im sure youve noticed - pogo goes hot and cold with meld. Errr of course theres always the double browsing method to increase your rating - but I wouldnt clear stats, start back at rank 0 and as has been stated, your rating will stay where it is.

A long time ago I have tried to clear my stats due to when Pogo first came out with Pinochle I got either a loss or unfinished game ... didn't matter whether I lost, won or left the game. I realized then that you couldn't clear your stats but I might be wrong now.

do this:

make 3 new sns, send 3 guest passes to them. now get smart explorer and start playing rated games.
at some point, your rating will stop advancing because your rating will be so high and every1 elses' will be very low. this should happen at around 1950 rating.
keep one sn who has the lowest rating. he/she will be your partner for the rest of the process. sign up 2 more new sns, send 2 more guest passes to them. now keep playing till you have 2001.

Your rating will go to 1500 & you will keep your badges
Go to a game where you can clear your stats...open stats...go in pinochle [keep stats open]..when in pinochle, clear the game stats [rainy day, poppit, stack'em] & your rating should go to 1500...

      IT WILL RE-SET ALL PINOCHLE STATS, BUT WONT TAKE THE BADGES THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY EARNED! if you at rank 5 & you re-set you go to rank 0

Can I reset my rating to 1500?
Unfortunately, we cannot reset your rating back to 1500.

You can either 'lose' your way back to 1500 (or win your way, if you're currently under 1500), or create a new account (as long as you don't have a Club Pogo account) with which to play. A new account will start you over at 1500 ratings.



I wasn't playing a rated game, but I lost ratings points.
If you are certain you were not playing a rated game, but your rating changed at the end of the game anyway, you had probaby previously played a rated game, and left before it was over, and then later started a new game. When you start that new game, your rating after that new game (whether or not it's rated) will reflect any changes from the previously rated game (the one that was left).


We don't adjust ratings or edit won/loss records for any reason. It's too difficult to differentiate between someone who gets innocently disconnected from a game from someone who just unplugged their modem to avoid a loss. Until technology advances to the point where we can differentiate between the two, we have to rely on the game mechanisms (allowing 5 minutes to return to the game, the forfeit timer, etc.) to handle situations like this.


I joined and won a game in progress, but I didn't get rating points for the win.
You only get rating points for a rated game that you are playing at both the beginning and the end. If you join a game in the middle, your rating is unaffected.
