Introduction Thread

Hey everyone. I just realized that even though I have been a member of the forum for 4 years, I never introduced myself! And as you can all see, I certainly don't post much--I am more of a reader, and although you don't know me, I feel as though I know several of you. Opening up the forum is often times like sitting down with an old, familiar friend and conversing over a good hot cup of coffee.

I really don't have much to say about myself, other than I suffer from severe insomnia (sometimes I don't sleep for 3-4 days at a stretch), I like sea monkeys, and my favorite color is green. I've got 4 kids and am going through a divorce after nearly 13 years of marriage.

Well, I guess that's it, going back into my lurker/reader mode. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. 

Hello Eeyore and welcome back. I am new to the forum myself. been here i believe for about 5 months maybe a little longer. I love the people on here and I think this place is just awesome. If I am having a rotten day, I can come in here and know that someones post or picture will make things better. Well gotta go. I am on the lookout for the fresh baked cookies I am smelling.

Don't feel bad Eeyore that you didn't introduce yourself. I never have really either. I was a happily married woman for 30 years then he showed back up at my house for his half the day after the 30 year mortgage was paid off. Pogo got me thru quite a few litigious years where I could come home from legal dealings and forget anything but badges. Uncle Otto helped me when I couldn't get those badges. I discovered that anyone who uses autos is OCD about something, be it tokies or badges.

I left Warner Music after 27 years of being a studio musician because they couldn't keep patching up my rotator cuffs. I still work as a musician at Disneyland when any percussionists go on their vacations. My name is from the fact that I sell vintage disneyland items on eBay for the last 10 years. I know most everything Disneyland but when people question me about Disney type items I am at a loss. I live 3 miles from the beach in San Diego but that only means crowded parking and higher taxes.
