   5      pounds        Pork spare ribs

   1 1/2  teaspoons     Salt

   1                    Beef bouillon cube

     3/4  cup           Water -- boiling

   1      teaspoon      Oil

   1      can           Pineapple,crushed -- undrained

     1/4  cup           Brown sugar,dark -- firm packed

   1      teaspoon      Onion powder

     1/4  teaspoon      Garlic powder

   2      tablespoons   Worcestershire sauce

   2      tablespoons   Cornstarch

     1/4  cup           Water -- cold

Preparation:
1. Cut ribs to form individual portions; sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt. 2. Place ribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan; bake in preheated 375'F. oven until almost tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Drain off fat. 3. Meanwhile, dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water in a medium-size saucepan. 4. Add oil, pineapple, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and remaining salt; bring to a boil. 5. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. 6. Combine cornstarch with cold water in a small bowl; stir into sauce mixture. Cook and stir until thickened. 7. Spoon sauce over drained, baked ribs. 8. Increase oven temperature to 425'F.; bake until nicely glazed, about 30 minutes.

If it is, can't prove it at my house. I have to be married to the only man in America that doesn't grill outdoors. I don't know what happened to him, he must have been dropped on his head when he was little.

Luna

:)) :)) Too funny Helen. Maybe you can redrop him a couple of times on his head. That might change his mind about grilling :-X

LOL..thats funny because I would only grill on a electric grill outside, because I was scared of a gas grill...but I learned last summer how to use a gas grill...I love it now..Its fast and easy. ( just like me)  JOKING IM JOKING

You?? Nothing, you're a good girl. Watcha talking about?  :))  :))  :))

Helen my hubby gave a better way of getting your man to grill for you. Now keep in mind this is coming from a males mind.....he said to rub the sauce of your chest. Your hubby will surely be eager to get grilling then..LOL :)) :))  Now from my mind....I say heck try it. If he doesnt get to grilling the ribs I can probably say that you might get some grilling done in the bedroom.   <<  Ducks to avoid being hit>> :-[

Sounds like a plan to me!! I'll probably have to rub something besides BBQ sauce though because, again, not only does he not like to grill out, he hates to eat anything with BBQ sauce on it.

Knowing the differences between barbecued or not barbecued & tuna and chicken... not the same thing. I eat food all the time and I don't know if it's BBQ'd or not. When it came to Jessica Simpson, she's just in a class by herse.... well, I'm sure there are members of this forum in that class with her. Let's just say she was in a class that included people who rode in that small yellow bus!

I've been watching those ribs for a while and with the fire that high... you would think they be at least the slightest bit brown by now!

Tara
