Who says Pop? Who says Soda?

I say soda, but I'm the only one in my area (which is 22-24 hours from bubble) - My kids say soda (because they are mini-me's) and say people at school look at em like theyre nuts (Oh wait that might be cuz they are mini me's)

Hold up because we just say Coke  >:D  Why do people in Ohio say hamburg? Instead of hamburgers?  I hate that ( hamburg word)  :x  
And how come you guys are having grammer lessons?  Who cares ?  Theres only 2 peoples STUFF I can't  understand around here so its not a biggie to me  :))

Thank you, tponka, for educating us on homonyms. Even though some people are not well versed in English grammar, I am very well educated. I choose to display lazy typing skills through incorrectly abbreviated words and blatant misspellings sheerly out of laziness. Quite frankly, I do not care if my intelligence is questioned based upon my typing on forums & in Pogo. Honestly, thank you for this idea because some members definitely need your help.

yuns gon oer an git a co coler . Being from the Deep South(Amercian by birth Southern bythe Grace of God ) I understand all about every drink being called a coke. except sweet tea. We call it sweet tea. Turnip Greens have pot liquer that you always sop up with a hunk of cornbread and cornbread dont have sugar in it.  And white milk is called sweet milk anything else is buttermilk
