Swimming Pool

1/2 oz blue curacao

1 oz Rose's sweetened lime juice

1 1/2 oz vodka, heavily iced and strained

Lime slice (optional), for garnish

Pour curacao, lime juice, and vodka over a large handful of ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Perch a lime slice on glass rim, if desired
*tip*
To be really inviting, a swimming pool must be crystal clear, and so must this drink. So don't use fresh lime juice or limeade, which will make a cloudy drink. Instead, use Rose's sweetened lime juice, available in many supermarkets and liquor shops

Yummo never would make it but it sure sounds good

I'm gonna make that frozen red slushie chit for my July 4th BBQ.... The one everyone stole as kids.

ClingFree

Okay .. this was Ma's red slushy stuff I snagged as a kid. Told her I wanted the recipe. She said "Oh so your kids can sneak it too?"

4 tea bags in 1 c. boiled water for strong tea
1 c. sugar dissolved in hot tea
2 (6 oz.) cans frozen lemonade
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
7 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. gin

Mix it all together, store in the freezer - She used to fill up a 5 gallon ice cream container with a lid.

There's a reason I don't have kids.. I have no tolerance for them.... I don't know, I just never did LIKE them.  Anyway, nothing against kiddos, but a couple of years ago, we combined Ma's birthday party and a July 4th BBQ into one and she invited a coworker who brought a 9 year old little girl.  By the end of the day?  I wanted to DROWN this kid.  She annoyed the ever lovin' hell outta me.  That, plus I couldn't cuss.  LMAO!

Anyway, I'm not planning on having future murdered kids.  Aren't you glad?
