Aces Up Auto- Red Baron is FUBAR on my PC

I know, I am a dunce or worse for not knowing about the glitch when it was there.. so now I am trying to use Red Baron to get A badge, ANY badge in Aces Up, and it's not working.
My specs:
Win XP
Firefox and Sun, same effects with IE 6 and MS VM
Screen 1024 x 768 32 bit color
Smooth thing unchecked screensaver off
Agent: Red Baron 1.1 ( same one that's been out forever)

Problem: 1) Starts a game, error message " Bad card read". Doesn't remove cards when they are removable..OR
2) Starts a game over and over, doesn't play one.. OR
3) A plane is sent in to shoot down a card, but the auto is not causing the plane to aim and fire. Heck, it is even aiming the planes at the ACES!!!

What I've done to try to fix the problem:
1) Made certain the game was fully loaded before starting the auto
2) Slowed the click speed down
3) Played the game manually  ( once, and badly)  to make certain it wasn't a Pogo game problem
4) Uninstalled and re-installed both Aces Up! and Red Baron Agent and all associated files.

My entire first page on GAME BADGES is BLANK.  Sad sad book. Sad sad cheater. ;::

I have found that the autos work better using sun java. I don't like sun but such is life. :(

I went and got the auto and gave it a try.  It wasn't working well for me either.  It does run on my machine, just doesn't play well.  I am not sure what is up with it.  It was trying to shoot aces for me also.  I'm using IE with sun.  I only have one badge in that game and am not sure if I'll even try for others unless there is an update for the auto.  I watch my autos run and that one would drive me crazy with all of the missed moves and the way it uses the planes.

try to play the game yourself. it's an ok game. the best thing is the "undo" button actually works! so abuse it as much as you want. every hand is winnable but some are harder some easy. sometimes i spend half an hour trying win a hand so don't go crazy.

To help you, we are going to need a little info...
     1.) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)?
     2.) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)?
     3.) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)?
     4.) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)?
     5.) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked?
     6.) What Java you are using?
     7.) What agent are you using?
     8.) What version number is this agent?
     9.) What specifically is the problem?

(and an agent is the cheat program....)

To uncheck the Smooth Edge, follow these directions:

1) "Right Click" your desktop and select "Properties"
2) Click on the "Appearance" tab
3) Click on the "Effects" button
4) "Un Checkmark" the top 2 boxes and press "Ok"
5) Press "Apply"

rb only wins 1 plane per game and thats the free one   >:( but the good part aces is a challenge next week so i know bh will fix it for us all  :D

I don't use this particular auto so I can't recommend what type of settings to use. I know my autos work best in IE6, 32 bit, 1024x768, my smooth fonts are actually checked but others can't get theirs to work with it being checked, & Sun Java. Maybe someone who uses this auto can make a suggestion or two.

my red baron hasn't worked right since i got it, it just keeps flipping the cards over & over..lol  (but the old auto worked real good even on my Win ME). i've tried everything but nothing helped so i gave up & just finished getting the game badges by hand. :'(  .  i posted couple messages long time ago bout this but no one ever answered me,  :o    i'm sure with a challenge coming up soon, they will try to get it working for us..  :)

Ok I've tried this auto (again) and it worked like a charm for me. It went thru all the cards, then undo back to the beginning to figure out the best possible path to win the game. No complaints for me.
