I've never stayed at the Stratosphere. It's down at the very end of the Strip and not really in walking distance of much. Cabs are always accessible though. If the wedding is on Saturday, a Thursday arrival would probably be better as it will give you time to get situated and not be rushed.

If you can't find a good place to eat in Vegas I'd be surprised. Most of the casinos have very good food, it just depends on what you're looking for and how much you're willing to pay.

Can you win lots of money? Sure you can if you're lucky. You can also lose lots tooooooo. How much money to bring? If it's for gambling, only take what you can afford to lose.

If you have any more questions you can PM me. My son lives there and I can give you lots of info.  O0

yes indeed. U must hit the casino while u r there u can"t go to vasas without gambling. Go to spansh 21 and bet nothing less then 500.00 per hand. then after awhile head for the craps table and again place nothing less 500.00 per hand. Then by this time u should be rich and now go and have fun in vegas O0

Personally, that is advice I would not take except for the have fun part.

Rule #1: Don't listen to 75% of things The Hippo says. It will only lead you down the wrong path
Rule #2: Don't listen to 100% of anything from jim. It's all BS and is used for entertainment purposes only (kinda like having your palm read)

From the stratosphere, don't take a cab.. too expensive.  Catch the trolley.. less than two bucks, and goes the length of the strip.
btw.. can I stow away in your luggage?  I'll be your personal tour guide.. I LOVE VEGAS!!!  <3

That's why I prefer to say somewhere in the middle of the Strip so more things are in walking distance and there is also the monorail.  O0

I LOVE VEGAS!  I'm trying to talk my posse into a chick-trip there.  I stay at the Mirage and gamble A LOT so my room is always comped.  It's centrally located and it's a beautiful hotel.  I've wanted to try Wynn and Bellagio but it's hard to pass up a free room.  Yanno?

Foxx?  Clingy?  Tara?  We REALLY REALLY need to talk about this trip, now!  I mean it!  >:D

Vegas ROCKS!!!.. I love it there!.. You MUST go down town and watch The Fremont St Experience...It is THE neatest thing to see.. and WIN BIG!!!

The Bellagio is an awesome place to stay.. I've stayed there three times.  I've also stayed at Monte Carlo, Rio, Hilton, MGM Grand, and Luxor.  I wanna try out the Venetian next!

The Bellagio is awesome. I stayed there once. I've stayed at Bally's, Paris, New York New York, Mirage, Imperial Palace ( not all that fancy ) Luxor, Stardust, Sahara (not sure it's even there anymore) and a few more I can't remember. My son lives there now so I always have a free room!!!  :D

No kidding!!! Actually though, the last trip I stayed at the casino. You can't beat free rooms. Also, I was with more than just hubby and we didn't want to drag a bunch of people to his house. This next trip I'll be staying at the casino/hotel too.  Next 2 are at his house though!!! Can ya tell I was happy that he moved there??? lol  :))

He lives about 7 minutes from the strip, right down Tropicana Blvd. If I catch all the lights, I can make it in 6, lol. You ready to go?  :D
