It says:   "Police say the girl was fishing with her family <SNIP> The spokeswoman said they had not been able to ascertain where the girl was from, with the family fishing from a small outstation on the river."

Does not make any sense to me?  If she was with her family, They should know where she is from hu?   >>:D

it means  if shes from general area  or  another state  lots of small comunities around Darwin  NT  ,
