Jackpot Winner

Hehe, well I had just put my kids to sleep, and was enjoying the peace. I remember I was taking a sip of my drink, when the spinner was going, and I nearly choked when it landed on Jackpot! All my friends saw because it shows on chat throughout Pogo, and the instant messages started coming. All I could say was "omg omg omg omg..." lol. I stayed in the room a while to recieve many congrats from people, but left soon after to go meet the gang. It was almost unreal and took a little while to sink in that I really won, lol.

Now, the part I have a problem with is I stayed in the room a while to recieve many congrats from people. Granted, it wasn't a jackpot, but when I won $20 on the spinner it immediately booted me out of the room and sent me to the page where I had to claim my prize. I detect a bit of paid actors claiming to be real "random" winners.....

Anyone ever win a JP around here to confirm it lets you stay in the room, or did anyone else ever win a smaller prize like me and have it immediately boot you out?

I haven't hit any jackpots yet but like i posted one night after someone hit the Turbo 21 jp of $4999 everyone was congratulating the person that won and obviously she wasn't in the room or in her room where her computer was at the time it hit (can we say she was running a auto? lol) about 3 minutes or so after she got back she asked the stupiest question i have ever heard from a jp winner which was , *Who won the JP?* i wouldve left that room as fast as i could have if that was me lololol

Bottom line here is if you hit a jp and are not there at the computer when you get back LEAVE that room as fast as you can or sign the heck off of pogo if your able to. lol

i hit a 25 dollar walmart card, and it booted me out too another page.... took me like 5 -6 months to get !!!

I didn't detect anything deceitful at all in that interview.

Maybe it is just me but what I got from her comments is that she returned to/remained in the room (after the mandatory filling out of all the necessary paperwork, of course) to say 'thank you' to everyone who was congratulating her before leaving the room to find her friends.

If I'm not mistaken, there was another jackpot winner in either the Miss Nettiquette or news section a while back to made a comment about people in the room being rude to her when she returned after filling out the forms because they thought she was ignoring them. If that winner returned to or remained in the room to be able to see the reactions of other players it's not inconceivable to think this one could as well.

I won 25.00 bucks and instantly.. like a split second... once the spinner says winner etc... it automatically boot u to "claim prize page".. u dont have any control of that... and if ur not at the computer... when u come back u will see ur on claim prize page..... I have 2 friends that won money as well and same thing... ... I am curious of the accuracy of anyone winnin and able to choose when to go to claim page except a win of WALLPAPER OR SCREEN SAVERS....

mine happened last fall. all i know is that i stayed in the same room, and a screen popped up telling me how to claim prize.

Nope, I play for fun and maybe the chance of winning something but ive never even one a wallpaper from them.
You know the 'double jackpot spinner' whats best to do?
a) Leave it to spin and stop.
b) Stop it before it gets to the end?

It doesn't matter because the payout is predetermined. You can press it at anytime and it will give out the amount it wants to.
