Ok, mia culpa.

The highest is a 4.0 if you are taking standard classes. Some of the college prep classes (they called them A.P. - advanced placement - when I was in school) award an extra point for each grade (i.e., A = 5 pts. instead of 4 pts.). So someone in the advanced classes could have a better than 4.0 GPA if they get all As or they can get a few Bs and still have a 4.0 GPA.

I would bet the farm that Bree never got close to a 4.0, much less a 4.5.

Yeah, what killed me was her bragging about how intelligent she was as she misspelled intelligent. Then, she corrected herself and misspelled it AGAIN! :)) :)) :))
