If you rent your modem from your ISP you should be able to get a replacement one.

Myself I prefer owning my own rather than pay my ISP $7/month to rent one.

Verizon is sending me a new modem. I couldn't do AOL ... No local # to use to connect. Right now nothing to do but try to ignore the neighbor's donkey. From the the sounds of it there should be a little one in a few months!

My DSL modem is by Verizon... they expressed it to me... got it within 48 hrs via Fed Ex..... My other modem was Westell...wireless router model 327... ( I kept losin conx everytime it rain'd or God forbid a windy day)... I dont think you're get that... dont think they send that sorry-arse modem out anymore to consumers.

They replaced the Westell with an ActionTec...........

Hopefully, ur online and back to puttin out awesome tags and tutorials in a day or less...... Im first in line for a new tutorial.  I burned out of ideas :(
