T, you're southern... You've heard of fried cucumbers, right?

I don't eat stuff like that. I just looked it up and the pictures were kinda gross. 
I probably don't eat any southern foods except grits, and I don't even eat them anymore, but I love them.

I don't pick bushes and plants off the side of the road and boil them, I don't eat foreign parts of animals, I don't sit on the front porch picking ticks off the dogs while eating watermelon, I eat with a spoon, not play them on my knee for entertainment. I pee in real toilets and not outhouses,I have running water that comes through pipes, and yes I wear shoes in public.

Well, I love southern food.   :))  And my mom would sit me on the front porch with the dogs and pick ticks off all of us.  :))

makes me think of  at my moms house way back, when we had chickens, one got splatted in road, an by end of day was flat as a pancake, but the feet stayed sticking straight up in the air lmao.. was just a few feathers left an the feet  up in  the air :))
