I really don't mind it too much...true, they couldve raised it by like a buck instead of 10 or 5 or whatever it was...but for an entire year of playing i don't really mind...as much as im on it, i think i get my monies worth! its better than takin it out to hard rock and playing 35 bucks in 5 minutes!!! lol

I'm getting ready to dump Pogo - badges and all. I'm tired of them raising the prices. They'll continue to do it too as long as nmot too many people make a big stink about it. Just watch. Next year it'll go up to $40 per year and they more than likely won't slow down until they hit $50 per year. Just watch and see....

Shoot, too much hard work down the drain. And when you leave 20 more will join, so what the hell would they care.

Doesn't matter how many people make a big stink out of the price rises, Pogo obviously haven't taken any notice of the dozens of price rise petitions that have been floating about.  The price rises will continue as long as people out there (like myself) have no problem paying them.  It's cheap entertainment :)

no chit.... It is just a tax write off for them tho. They will make more money by tearing it down than selling it

:ooo

My membership is due in a few weeks, guess I will be paying 34.99 too.  >:D    Do they accept food stamps? Just kidding I don't have food stamps, although I wish I did.

BadgeBabe

I need clarification/ an explanation of whatever Pogo is doing with the rate thing.
Hubby's account ( I use it to double browse for challenges) had a messge when I signed on this AM that said his old CC had been declined. Well, yeah, because we had to cancel the cards because I lost mine.

Here's the thing. When I went to his billing info, it said there was a Promotion Coupon for $27.99. I thought, well, that's nice of them. But when I entered the CC info to PAY and keep his account current, it charged him $34.99.
Did they do a bait and switch?

I also updated my own account info with the same CC while I was at it, and mine also said there was a promotion for the $27.99. Then I got an email from Pogo stating that the updated info had been noted and that my account would automatically be charged the yearly fee of $34.99 when the current subscription was up.

( Note, I don't think anyone knows when my current subscription ends. Since both of our accounts were paid at the same time, but in different years, mine should be due now too. However, it has a Promo Credit listed under " time remaining" and absolutely no renewal date).

Pogo seriously needs to get their stuff together.
