I heard on the news yesterday that there was a guy camping outside some store waiting for it for 3 days. He was #1 in line and didn't even get one. ::)  ::)

The store didn't assign everyone a number, so everyone behind the guy just ran in the store before him.  ::)

Someone in Boston(I think?) even got shot over a PS3.  ::)

There were people in line for 3 days at a store a few towns over and none of them ended up with them either... the store got robbed two hours before the sale... No one could figure out how the burglars did it -  ;:" were out front of the store doing crowd control and everything  :)) :))

i going to wait also, usually there's a few kinks when new consoles are launched and i'm not impressed with the first wave of games (no final fantasy).

I'm playing FF XII right now. :/\

From what I understand there is already a patch you have to download to solve the backwards compatibility issue.
