I tried the cheat and really didn't win many games.  The free trials are sometimes not long enough to get a real idea of how the well the cheat works.  Anyone here use this cheat?  If so, how do you like it?

This is my personal experience with Matchmaker, latest version, for Perfect Pair Solitaire. I think BH makes many terrific autos, but some need a bit of tweaking. Matchmaker is one of them, IMO. A person who turns it on, leaves and doesn't watch it play will probably not see the following. My statements are based upon my recent experiences on my system, which does not have any problems with other autos. Your gaming experience may be different.

My winning percentage with the auto averages less than 50%. I can play it much better by hand, but think it is a stupid game, so I hate to play it. If you want the auto to run for a long time, it will eventually advance in rank, but it is very slow going due to its mistakes, not its speed.
Here's what I have observed while my Matchmaker is running on medium speed with at least 8 lookahead moves selected. If I give it the max lookahead moves possible, it takes it about 20 mins. to finish one game, and still makes the same mistakes.
The auto does not try to redo a puzzle. It will start over for any little thing even when not out of moves.
It does NOT sense the " monster aboard" cards, will play that game over and over and over until a pair comes up that looks almost like the regular cards.
Also, it does not make the best decisions when there is only 1 Lifesaver slot open vs the games with 2 Lifesaver slots. Often runs out of places to put unmatched cards because it doesn't use them wisely, putting cards which can both be clicked and matched together in the free slots.
Also, it usually does not choose the Perfect Pair matches. I recently did a 2005 badge which required a rather low number of Perfect Matches, and it took the auto a long time to make the required amount. It is hard to get many perfect games. Often the auto will give you 5-6 hearts out of 10.

Overall, I rate it just slightly above Pop Phoeey, the other auto which has needed a fix for over a year. I'm sure BH is busily working on both of these autos as they are aware of both having " hangups".  :)))

Hope this helps. Again, your experience may be different depending upon the qualities of your individual PC.

mine seems too work quite well .  All it mainly does is win how ever it can and move on.  Does'nt allways make the best moves .    But thats o.k.! :;'

this auto does better than I do when playing the game. I have seen it start a new game a few times when it could've finished the one it started, but over all I like it  O0

It doesn't matter too me as long as my Uncle gets through it and I don't have to  :)))

I too seem to have the same prob, noticed it doing the same thing urs does. I have not had it all that long so maybe if I can play around in the settings?? maybe that will help - not sure as I have not looked at that part yet. Just wanted to try it to see if it worked ok, but I did notice it lose alot n over n over again and I just shut it off and felt disappointed by it but no biggie.

just thought I'd let ya know u were not the only one.

I had the same trouble... Took me forever to finish perfect pair

Perfect Pir Solitaire - Not so Perfect - I have had nothing but problems with this program.  It might play a game and get stuck, or it might play 3 games and get stuck.  It is not a smart program as it restarts games when there is only 1 match left in the game.  The majority of my programs from BH are great but this one and both Phlinx ones are useless and I don't even use them anymore - Will just have to wait it out I guess
