You'd have to bet at least a million to win a million on Smarty Jones in the Belmont. he will go off at less than even money. Also, why I didn't bet him to win in the Preakness. He paid $3 for a $2 bet. Not the kind of return I'm looking for on my money. ;) Also, about him not being rested....there is 3 weeks until the next race....there was only 2 weeks rest between the Derby and the Preakness so he will have more time to recover.

Sorry, I didn't think of the odds. Tell you what homer if smarty wins triple crown I will make a post saying Homer was right and I'm an idiot.  (If I heard  ESPN correct)there has been 6 of last 8 to win the first 2 of  3 but none has gone on to will triple.
