*throws up all over the FSB 333MHz and the PC2700*
That's where you're going to have a bottle neck...
If you've got the money I would grab another stick of 512MBs of RAM to throw in there, 1gig is really nice...

Good thing to hear there John.  I am very pleased with the performance so far.  Since I more than likely wont be home this summer, I am not going to worry about the extra RAM just yet... But early fall I may get some... :o)  I am going to take my case off tomorrow and look in there and see what this things got... Just to lazy and tired to do it now.

Glad to hear eMachines are good... :o) no more compaq... no more problems... **hopefully**

Hey soaring your machine sounds nice, this is what I use.

My Machine:

Asus a7m266-d motherboard
(2) Amd-mp2800 CPU's
1.5 gig PC2100 ram
ATI Radeon 9200  256k video card
(2) 80 gig hard drives
Samsung DVD/52x CD burner
Operite 8x DVD burner
Windows 2000 pro
At&t dual modem (it lets you use 2 lines at once for super fast dial up)
All packed in a nice casearts.com Burled walnut case with mathing keyboard and mouse.

Most of this was scavenged off of E-bay for less than $600.00 total
