Targeting Problems in Battle Phlinx

When I go into a room that allows Targeting, in Battle Phlinx,I'm not able to target anyone even tho' I click on that option.  Pogo Help seems to be giving me ther runaround on helping me with this.  I make sure I am in a room allowing Target too.  Any suggestions?
