I use AdAware, Spybot, and Spyware Blaster all at the same time.  Just in case on doesn't find something the other will.

CWShredder isn't bad to have either. I don't suggest using it as a primary program but it's good sometimes for some specific spyware. ;)

I have "Ad aware" and "Spybot - Search and destroy". They both are great programs  :)

another good programme is spyware blaster , it doesnt search for spyware but it stops spyware being installed on your pc , it is free and i,ll put a link on if i am allowed .. good programme if you have just restarted you pc , or reformatted , put this on straight away and you shouldnt need to worry about spyware ,

Spybot is good but I have run adaware right after running spybot and adaware does find some things spybot misses. So I run them both. ;)
