Banana Split Pie

1 purchased graham cracker pie crust
1 large pkg instant vanilla pudding
2 bananas
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 small carton Cool Whip
chopped pecans or walnuts, if desired

Mix pudding according to package directions and pour into pie shell.
Slice bananas, and place evenly over pudding mix.
Drain pineapple and sprinkle over bananas.
Cover all with Cool Whip.
Sprinkle finely chopped nuts over top, if desired.
Chill until set up.
