Oh my, now thats very nice for a web page background...  I miss doin web pages... gawd, when you stop some hobbies you get a lil rusty.  Decisions, hmmm.... one of the best part of creatin/modifyin home pages.... <boy, what fun>

My biggest concern about our current background is that .. it draws too much attention away from the forum content (well for me at least). I find my eyes are more focused on it than what's being posted.

I may try a few more BG's out tomorrow and see how they match up.

Don't get me wrong, I like the colors of this one .. at times it just seems a bit much.

Its very dominant..bright...strong..the homepage contrast should flow... its a major contrast... the water bein dominant make your attention stare at it and yes, "its eye catchin"...u cant help but to notice it. 

Nice background... jus to me the contrast should not be overwhelmin.  Thats my opinion :) I think the colors should work together, compliment each other.... flowwww...
