Can anyone explain to me why my kids had already decorated our tree and then late last night decided to take it all down and only put back the lights, 13 balls, and a star on top?   Their only explanation was that it won't take long to put everything up when we take the tree down.  ::)

That's easy... they're your kids.  No rhyme or reason to what they do.   :))

We have a 4ft prelit/pre decorated tree so all we do is slide it in a box and VIOLA!! DONE!!
